Khalsa College Establishment committe was formed in 1880. The foundation stone of the college was laid by the then Lt. Governer of Punjab Sir James Broadwood Loyal, on 5th march. On 3rd April, 1882 Dr. William H. Ratigan took over as the President of the the Governing council, while S. Attar Singh became the Vice-President. On 10th December, 1882 Bhai Jawarhar Singh was elected the first Honorary Secretary of the governing council. A galaxy of distinguished citizens, eminent educationists and noted celebrities like S. Sunder Singh Majitha, S. Tarlochan Singh, Bhai Veer Singh, S. Harbans Singh Attari, Dr. Sohan Singh, S. Gurmukh Singh Chawla, S. Sant Singh worked with rare distinction, humility, dedication and missionary spirit to raise Khalsa College to the present status of a premier education institution.

             Khalsa College has produced the National as well as International level top brass in the Department of Sports, Defence Services, Administration, Medical and Engineering education.

             The Present managment is headed by President S. Satyajit Singh Majitha and Honarary Secretary Sr. Rajinder Mohan Singh Chinna has taken timely and wise Decision to start the College of Nursing.
